ENCONTROS
"Encontros" is a personal project that I've been developing over the course of my master's degree program. This project is focused on Celeste, a fairy who bakes for her community, and Poppy, her ghost mouse companion. I've been exploring their universe throughout a series of assignments, both in Illustration and Animation classes. Given the restraints I had at first, the first two projects focused on how the main characters helped Mel, Celeste's best friend, find her ghost companion, Penny. Now, on my final project, which I'm sharing bits of here, I'm finally exploring their universe a little more, focusing on how Celeste and Poppy have met and become friends.
This project is a starting point for a short film that I'd like to develop and, hopefully, one day, could be turned into an animated series!
